She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Frank and Elsie Thomas (Nordstrom); her sons, Charles Joseph Kies of San Frisco, CA and Patrick Allen Kies of Moscow, MI; her granddaughter Tia Marie Kies; her husband Charles J. Kies; and her siblings, Betty Jean Tirb, Elaine Jedele, Patricia Rutherford and William Browning Thomas. She was also cherished by three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
