He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Brown and Elva Bernice Brown (Lanius); and his brothers, Olin, Oral and Marvin.
He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Brown (Kimberly) of Jonesville; his grandchildren, Ashley Sheriff, Damia Brown and Payton Brambley; his great grandchildren, Reagan and Rylee; his brother Galen Brown (Beverly) of Bryan; and his close friend Edith Chapman.
