He was predeceased by: his parents, Fabian Godfrey and Esther Godfrey (Tubbs); and his siblings, Arthur, Meridith, Mickey Godfrey and Rose Eding.
He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Stemen, Leo Godfrey (Karen), Bob Godfrey (Brenda), Richard Godfrey and Fabian Godfrey (Marie); his brother-in-law Scott Eding; and his caregivers, Kaylie "Red" Weller, Barbie Spieth, Jamiya Rogers and Shakaya Rogers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and some special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home (40 S Manning St, Hillsdale, MI 49242). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
