She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Slack and Nellie Slack (McPeek); her husband Emery; her sons, Frederick Miller and Gary Miller; her son-in-law Dana Speelman; her brother-in-law Jerry Turner; and her siblings, Arza "Bud" Slack, Marilyn Sheils and Robert Slack.
She is survived by: her children, Sonya Speelman, Mark Miller (Kathy), Robin Caverly (Julie) and Dawn Clements (James); and her siblings, Roger Slack (Martha) and Naomi Turner. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren.
