As Linda Kay departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Linda Kay. Though Linda Kay may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manley Matthews and Eleanor Matthews (Janz); her brother-in-law Tom Potts; and her extended family Jack Taylor. She is survived by: her daughter Alicia Cully of Hillsdale; her granddaughter Sophia Cully; her sister Peggy Potts of Chicago; her nieces, Christine Scheidhauer (Brad) of Chicago and Laurie Portnoi (Howard) of Santa Monica, California; and her cousin Connie Taylor of Fenton.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 173 E South St, Hillsdale, MI 49242.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hillsdale Community Schools – Art Department, honoring Linda's love of education and the arts.
