It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Gene Benge (Hillsdale, Michigan), who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Cook and Erma Cook (Stevens); her husband Russell J. Benge; her daughter-in-law Alice Benge; and her grandson Scott Price.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Benge (Nancy) of Allen, Ruth Price (Jack) of Kalamazoo, Martha Pridgeon (Bill) of Montgomery, Betty Clawson (Tim) of Allen and Carol Bieganek (Ralph) of Allen; and her sister Jane Grill (Robert) of Portage. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Crossroads Farm, Allen United Methodist Church, or Hospice of Hillsdale County.
