It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kevin J. Barber of Hillsdale, Michigan, born in Hudson, Michigan, who passed away on August 25, 2020, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father John Barber; and his siblings, Mark Barber, Kelley Barber and Theresa Gay. He is survived by: his children, Kasey Brenner (Derek) of West Unity, OH, Brian Stewart of Hillsdale, MI, Brent Barber (Eden) of Jonesville, MI and Mary Barber (Brian Clark) of Hillsdale, MI; his grandchildren, Kodi, Cade, Ava, Jordan, Madison and Nolan; his mother Nora Jane Barber (Coffey) of Hudson, MI; his sisters, Nancy Bowen (James) of Wauseon, OH, Kathy Vanlerberg (Dave) of Morenci, MI, Shirley Myers (Don) of Camden, MI and Polly Fish (Ben) of Hudson, MI; and his former wife Dawn Barber of Hillsdale, MI.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews many friends.
The family will receive friends for an outdoor visitation at the Hampton Funeral Home in Hillsdale, on Tuesday, September 1st, from 12:00 noon – 4:00 p. m. Following Executive Orders, no more than 100 people may be in attendance at a time, and social distancing with face masks will be required.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
