It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan E. Kizer Smith of Hillsdale, Michigan, born in Tecumseh, Michigan, who passed away on November 26, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marlin Kizer and Helen Kizer (McCloe); and her siblings, Jere Ann Smith (Rex), Robert Kizer (Marian) and George Kizer (Jan).
She is survived by: her husband Richard D. Smith; and her sister Marylyn Musselman (John) of Melbourne. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Hospice of Hillsdale County.
