She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gelenius and Minnie May Gelenius (Pettit); her husband Dempster; her siblings, Alice Gelenius Higley, George Gelenius and Robert Gelenius; and her children, Gail and Bradley.
She is survived by: her children, Hillsdale, Administrator, Tim, Diane Muffitt (Linda Murdock) of Sudbury, Massachusetts and Timothy Muffitt (Elise Muffitt) of Lansing, Michigan; and her grandchildren, Vincent and Clara. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hillsdale Hospital or the Hillsdale Community Library.
