It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet A. Lee of Hillsdale, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Leisenring and Mary Leisenring (Saettel); her husband William Lee of Hillsdale; her stepmother Jane A. Leisenring (Judd); and her grandson William Lee.

She is survived by: her children, Sue McManus (George) of Augusta, Bill Lee (Linda) of Auburn Hills, Patricia Trader (Kevin) of Warner, Doug Lee (Holli) of Elizabethtown and Rick Lee (Vickie) of Pittsford. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Music Programs of Perennial Park Senior Service Center, Addison Senior Center, Jonesville UMC music department or the Hillsdale Boy Scouts Troop #174.

“Janet was always was always very sweet, very knowledgable and eager to share any new information as well as any new gem she found. She was a giving person who helped the novices in our hobby of jelly glass collecting with their questions. She missed her husband, Bill, of 50+ years very much. I'll miss Janet very much the next time Jelly Jammers meets. My condolences go out to her family. She'll always hold a place in my heart.”
