He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Crites. He is survived by: his wife Taina; his daughter Sophie Belle Crites; his stepchildren, Tasha Duby, Tabatha June, Kaycee Riggs, Lakyn Sattison (Robinson), Leah Robinson, Warren Osmun and Levi Robinson; his mother Doris Crites of Camden, MI; and his siblings, Sandy Reamer (Duane), Mike Crites (Janet), Ron Crites (Peg), Cindy Hoard (Chuck), Jerri Ann Parker (Ron) and Debbie Fink (Jeff). He is also survived by 20 step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
