It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Mae Monroe of Hillsdale, Michigan, who passed away on October 30, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale "Carl" and Esther Crawford (Peters); her former husband Elvin "Al" Wilkins; her husband Richard Monroe; her daughter Sue Ellen Wilkins; her siblings, Clair, Paul, Dale, Wayne, Ted, Carl, Ethel, Edna and Vera; and her stepson Tim Monroe.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Nuyen (Tony) of Brooksville and Pamila Wilkins of Braselton, Georgia; her stepchildren, Mary Green of Hillsdale, Ray Monroe of Reading and Don Monroe (Pamela) of Reading; her grandson Lynnsy Maxwell (Elizabeth) of Paw Paw; her great grandchildren, Dane, Megan, Kamryn and Jyllian Maxwell; and her brother Vern Crawford (Beverly) of Eaton Rapids. She is also survived by nine step grandchildren; thirteen step great-grandchildren; and seven step great-great-grandchildren.
