He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Foust and Eunice Foust (Ensign); his former wife Norma Jacqueline Foust (Pike); his wife Betty Partee; and his siblings, Helen Thornton, Howard Foust, Elmer Foust, Claren Foust, Lucille Stiverson and Betty Young.
He is survived by: his sons, Delbert Foust of Cement City and Roger Foust of Hillsdale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Every year he would donate the food he grew in his garden to Kings Cupboard. He also donated blood and received awards for the amount he donated, over 100 pints.
