Dorothy I. Rumsey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy I. Rumsey of Hillsdale, Michigan, born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Hendges and Susan Hendges (Ferguson); her husband H. Dean Rumsey; her daughter-in-law Becky Rumsey; and her siblings, Harold Hendges and Jean Foster.
She is survived by: her children, Nita Phillips (Scott) and Peter Rumsey; and her grandchildren, Courtney Selk (Mike), Marshall Rumsey (Amy), Ryan Phillips (Audrey) and Kyle Phillips (Kylie Dothsak). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
