He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Buelow and Edna Buelow (Greene); his wife Patricia Lindsay; and his siblings, Burt, Donna Redens and Margret Warner.
He is survived by: his friend Carol Huston-Ambrose; his children, Linda Cross of Hillsdale, Jeff Woodby of Hillsdale, Kim Smith (Gary) of Tallahassee, Kellie Linder (Mitch) of Savannah and Kandi Howell (John) of Atlanta, Georgia; his sisters, Marjorie Lewis (Bill) and Dorothy Ciszewski; and his sister-in-law Joan Buelow. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
