Daniel Richard Schmig Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Richard Schmig of Hillsdale, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 13, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Schmig and Lillian Schmig (Kline); his wife Gloria Schmig; his son Tracey Schmig; his siblings, Charley Schmig and Dorothy Morgret; his half-sister JoAnne Holtz; and his great grandchild Amelia Meyer.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Zelenock (Greg), Chris Schmig (Sherry) and Chad Schmig; his grandchildren, Melissa, Curtis, Brian, Emalee, Meghan, Brock, Dylan, Darion, Sierra, Delanie, Nicole and Prestyna; and his sister Joyce Hawver. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
