He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlo Schmucker and Thelma Schmucker (Wilson); his wife Hazel "Diane" Beach; and his sister Sandra. He is survived by: his children, Aleta Huston (Matt) of Hillsdale, Charles A. Schmucker of Ft. Wayne and Patrick Schmucker (Jennifer) of Beaufort; and his siblings, Donna DeCosta of Jackson, Patricia Cudney of Hillsdale, Betty Peters of Osseo, Kenneth Schmucker (Agnes) of North Adams and Calvin Schmucker (Carol) of Traverse City. He is also survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
