It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Alexandria Engel of Hillsdale, Michigan, born in Goderich, Ontario, who passed away on May 26, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Chishlom and Catherine Chishlom (Keane); her husband Howard Engel; her sons, John Engel and Joe Engel; her grandson David Scott Engel; and her siblings, Walter, Harry, Madeline, Maxine, Kay and Lillian.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Bushta (John) of Livonia, Mary Kay Engel of Jonesville, Thomas Engel (Ginny) of Lofton, Steve Engel of Detroit and David Engel of Redford. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Greater Hillsdale Humane Society or St. Anthony Catholic Church.
