She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoke Phillips and Joyce Phillips (Sanford); her husband Frederick Sprang; her grandson Christian Gimenez; and her sister-in-law Sally Phillips.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Compton (Jerry) of Hillsdale, Sarah Smykowski (Doug) of Harbor Beach and Kimberly Brown (Jeff) of Jonesville; and her brothers, Richard Phillips of Georgia, James Phillips of New Jersey, Kenneth Phillips (Nancy) of Texas and Gordon Phillips of Florida. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
