He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Coffman and Mary Davidson; his daughter Sandra "Sandy" Tudor; his brother James Darby; and his sister-in-law Gloria Darby.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Coffman; his son Benjamin M. Coffman (Tammy) of Cottrellville, Michigan; and his sister-in-law Carol Darby of Tennessee. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
