She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Wilson and Belle Wilson (DuFur); her husband Dean Sanford; her siblings, Betty Maurer and Myron Wilson; her stepsons, Larry Spratt and Calvin Sanford; her son-in-law Kenneth Grimes; and her grandson Jason Spratt.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Spalding (Richard) of Hillsdale, Suzanne Grimes of Pleasant Lake, Thomas Spratt (Shirley) of Hillsdale and John Spratt (Kenette) of Hillsdale; her stepdaughter Pati McGee of Jackson; her brother Jerry Wilson (Carol) of Holland; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Wilson of Hillsdale. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hillsdale Free Methodist Church.
