We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Arlan K. Gilbert of Hillsdale, Michigan, born in Emmaus, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Russell Gilbert and Viola Gilbert (Kemmerer); his former wife Carolyn Giessel; his wife Gudrun "Gudi" Wittgen; his son-in-law Michael Hurst; and his sister Joyce Gilbert.
He is survived by: his children, Angie Berry (Bill) of Reading, Tracy Hurst of Abilene, Texas and Fritz Gilbert (Jackie) of Blue Ridge, Georgia. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Ransom Dunn Endowed Scholarship at Hillsdale College to further the education of the students he loved so dearly.
