He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Southworth and Mary Southworth (Wilson); his wife Nettie "Ellen" Fry; his son Joe; and his brother Paul Southworth.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Lape (Lynn) of Hillsdale, Gary Southworth (Darcy) of Hillsdale, Jeff Southworth (Lisa) of Montpelier and Ronnie Southworth (Dawn) of Camden; his grandchildren, Kelly Lemley (Bill), Jason Lape, Bridget Nichelson (Dustin), Ashley Reeves (Rick), Casey, Justin, Travis Southworth, Jennifer and Michael Bolenbaugh; and his sisters, Betty Stalder (Tom) and Judy Kollar (Jim). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
