He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lavina and Roland Robinson; and his uncle Roland. He is survived by: his children, Emma Niswonger (Tyler Barnes) of Hillman and Cody Niswonger of Parachute, Colorado; his grandchildren, Opal, Millicent and Jensen; his mother Rhoda Robinson of Hillman; and his siblings, Kim Niswonger of Fife Lake, Tom Niswonger (Heather) of Beulah, Marilynn Miller of Lachine and Clyde Miller.
