He is survived by: his children, Mary Gates (David) of Atlanta, Susan Boslet of Atlanta and Jeff Miller (Marla); and his sister Frances Angle of Romulus. He is also survived by six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
