He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barrie and Frances Barrie (Kopperwas); his wife Mary Lou Hubbard; his granddaughter Kelsi Barrie; and his brother William Barrie.

He is survived by: his children, Scott Barrie, Shawn Barrie (Lisa) and Lisa Dove (Bill); his grandchildren, Tyler Barrie, Kyle Barrie (Brandi), Arielle Crawford (Eric), Wyatt Barrie, Morgan Allen (Noah) and Jaden Dove; his great grandchildren, Creed Barrie, Aubrey Crawford, Cash Crawford, Luke Allen and Alex Allen; and his brother Thomas Barrie (Pam). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
