He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Vogt and Sarah Vogt (Edgar); his significant other Shirley Himes (Hillman); his grandson Devin Vogt; and his sister Donna Klein.
He is survived by: his children, Tamyra Smith (Cecil), DeLynn Yedinak and Scott Vogt (Meaghan); his grandchildren, Darrien Smith, Michael Yedinak, Makenzie Olrich (Josh) and Rachel Vogt; his siblings, Lillie Elowski, Tillie Vogt and Bill Vogt (Barbara); and his close friend Beth Noffze.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church - Royston (22000 Co Rd 452, Hillman, MI 49746). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
