She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil W. Tortorelli and Alma A. Tortorelli (Smith); her husband Paul C. Kortier; and her in-laws, Omer and Florence Kortier.

She is survived by: her children, Katherine Monroe, Barbara Johnoff (James), Paul Kortier (Angela) and Michelle Babcock (Jamie). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren, as well as many relatives and friends.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Augustine Catholic Church, Hillman, Michigan, and Centrica Care Navigators 7100 Stadium Ave. Kalamazoo, Michigan.
