It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Benac of Hillman, Michigan, born in Clare, Michigan, who passed away on December 15, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernel Bergey and Dorothea Bergey (Cook); her husband Charles Benac Jr.; and her children, Cindy Hickey and Roger Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Arts (Kim) of Lachine, Angela Standen (Alan) of Lachine, Connie Miller (Allen) of Lachine, Nicole Hawley (Kevin) of Hillman and Randy Bergey of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Jessica, Chad, Jonathan, Travis, Tyler, Heather, Amber, Lucas, Kellie, Kyle, Cody, Charlie Ann, Zachary, Rebecca and Danielle; and her siblings, Sharon Wale of Clare, Penny Wale (Mike) of Clare, Kathy Klein (Mike) of Alaska and Larry Bergey (Joyce) of Texas. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
