She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Helton and Lillie Helton; her husband Claude Hammonds, Jr.; and her siblings, Alvin W. Helton, Delmar L. Helton, James E. Helton, Billie K. Whaley and Nancy E. Hammonds.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Hammonds (Virginia), Deborah Wilson (Stanley), Teressa Proffitt (Harvey), Patricia Giertz (Bill) and Meri Tatum (Thomas); her grandchildren, Gregory Hammonds (Alana), Jennifer O'Rourke (Todd), Steven Wilson (Sherrie), Aaron Wilson, Samuel Wilson (Melissa), Crystal Smith (Josh), Dustin Wood, Rebekah Brown (Paul), Kandyce Davidson, William Rudd (Cayla), Rachel Hall (Jeff), Anndra Rudd and Wesley Rudd (Katelyn); and her siblings, Bobby Helton (Helen), Clarence Helton (Evelene), Gregory Helton (Rosa) and Joyce Smith. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
