Lyn Laurain Brooks Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lyn Laurain Brooks of Highland, Michigan, who passed away on September 16, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Lyn Laurain is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Lyn Laurain's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, June Maples and Charles Maples; and her granddaughter Elena. She is survived by: her children, Charles (Cheryl), Michael (Kimberlyn) and Paula; her husband Roger Lee Brooks; and her cousin Alice Prehn (Sandy Arreola). She is also survived by her three children, eight grandchildren, her eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Milford Presbyterian Church (238 N Main St, Milford, MI 48381). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of gifts, donations to the Humane Society or Nature Conservancy in her name are appreciated.
