With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheryl Lynn Ortiz of Highland, Michigan, who passed away on May 18, 2022 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence DeArmon and Josephine DeArmon; her siblings, Betty Lou Grace (Henry), Richard Evans (Pauline) and Tom Evans; and her brother-in-law Joe Hubbell.
She is survived by: her children, Carmelo Ortiz Jr. and Tonya Ortiz (Dana Polk); her grandchildren, Carmelo Ortiz III, Kaylina Ortiz, Selena Ortiz and Robert Wortman Jr.; her great grandchild Giovanni Wortman; her former husband Carmelo Ortiz Sr.; and her siblings, Debra Simon (Dean), Pixie DeArmon and Kevin DeArmon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
