We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2020, at the age of 64, Bonnie Lee Dear of Highland, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Theodore B. Bates; and her siblings, Wanda Bates and Michael Bates. She is survived by: her mother Marilyn Ruth Bates (Dearth); her nieces, Dana Masters, Deanna Reason, Danyal Reason, Dena Reason and Delray Reason; her nephew Justin Bates; her fiancé Shawn Mancogna; her children, Jennifer Zeits-Gasko (Joseph), Jeri Zeits-Baruzzini (Daniel) and Jamie Sherrod (Ryan); her grandchildren, Shelby, Joseph Burris, Linzi Shelton, Joeslee Sherrod, Simon Baruzzini, Ryan Sherrod Jr. and Jamison Sherrod; her great grandchildren, Mollie and Theodore Burris; and her sister Deidra Bates. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
