He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Jones and Lula Jones (McWilliams); his siblings, Paul, Leone, Hope and Wanda; his wife Dorothy Jones (Troub); and his son Jimmy Jones.
He is survived by: his sons, Billy Jones (Patricia) of Big Rapids, MI, Jerry Jones (Carol) of Coleman, MI and Mick Jones (LuAnn) of Margate, FL; and his grandchildren, Deb Newhouse (Mark), Todd Jones (Amanda), Brad Jones (Shelly), Cindy Esch (Jeremy), Jeremy Jones (Trista), Robbie Jones (Dana), Tim Jones (Laura) and Lindsay Cantu (Roberto). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
