It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Henry Smolen of Higgins Lake, Michigan, born in Romulus, Michigan, who passed away on October 29, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Smolen and Theresa Smolen (Remion). He is survived by: his wife Wilma Musser; his daughters, Sharon Anderson (Marc) and Cathy Hare (Bill); and his grandchildren, Allison Wolters and Justin Hare. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
