He is survived by : his wife Helen McAllan; his sons, Gregory Hughes (Bobbie) of Richland and Christopher Hughes (Erin) of Galesburg; his grandchildren, Avery and Charlie; and his sister Sandra Plooy (Ron) of Macomb, Michigan..
