He was predeceased by : his parents, Wesley B. Knapp and Alice Knapp; his brothers, Jim and Ken; and his son Wesley Ralph Knapp.

He is survived by : his daughters, Susan Knapp and Natasha DeYoung; his daughter-in-law Kelli Knapp; his son Ralph Reed Knapp; his granddaughter Heather Stine (David); his sister Barbara Little; and his nephews, Bobby Nyberg (Dawn) and Kenny Knapp (Jennifer).
