William Rutledge Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Rutledge of Hessel, Michigan, born in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, who passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mary Lynn Huyck (Vern), Glen Rutledge, Lauretta Atkins, Marjorie Schmitigal (Stanley) and Jack Rutledge (Betty); his siblings-in-law, Reginald Wilson, Duane Brown (Barney) and Belva Rutledge; and his parents-in-law, Vernie and Elda Nye.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Nye of Hessel; his son Andrew; his grandchildren, Zoe, Elliot and Piper; his siblings, Arla Jean Wilson, James Rutledge and Glenda Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Jeri, John Griffin, Sally Nye, Tom and Debbie Nye. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, plus many great-nieces and nephews.
