She is survived by: her parents, Marvin James Chard and Edna Mae Chard (Turk); her husband Paul Smith; her daughters, Julia Smith and Reagan Smith of Hessel; her stepchildren, Katie Scheib (Anthony) of Sterling Heights, Amy Smith (James Davis) of Clinton Township and Jake Smith (Erika) of Superior, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Emily Gardner, Addison Gardner, Lucas Scheib, Avery Davis, Marquette Smith and Hogan Smith; her stepmother Elaine Chard of Hessel; her siblings, Donald Ray Thon of Hessel, Kelly Kopko (Jim) of Pickford, Pennie Clymer (Mark) of Cedarville, Jeff Thon of Hessel, Shannon Vander (Dave), Werp of Muskegon, Linda Leon, Mary Beth Risk of Sault Ste and Marie; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Crandall (Steven), Barbara Taber (Rod), Christine Coderre (Keith) and Barbara Smith.
