He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle William McLeod and Margaret Mary McLeod (Mertaugh); his brothers, William Patrick McLeod and Lyle Francis McLeod; and his brothers-in-law, Jay Smith, Ernest Carr, Harvey Britton, Dwayne Gebben, Harold Atwill and Clifford Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn McLeod of Hessel; his children, Cynthia Paloucek (Keith) of Naperville, Illinois, Joseph Burger (Melissa) of Lake Forest, Robert Burger (Joni) of Cedarville and Paul Burger (Laura) of Wheaton, Illinois; his grandchildren, Drew Paloucek, Jack Paloucek, Ryan Burger, Derek Burger, Gordon Burger, Bennett Burger and Elizabeth Burger; his siblings, Thomas McLeod of Cedarville, Adrienne Smith of Pickford, Mary Ann Carr of Cedarville, Jane Hobbs of California, Angela Porco (Jack) of Sault Ste, Marie and Ontario; and his sisters-in-law, Doris Payne of Lake, Beverly Gebben of Pewaukee and Barbara Britton.
