He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald W. Ermatinger and June Ermatinger (Zyrd). He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Smith; his children, Chris Ermatinger (Sarah), Ken Jr. Ermatinger (Laura) and Jason Smith (Lisa-Jo); his grandchildren, Ken Ermatinger III, Jayden Smith, Erin Ermatinger, Isabella Ermatinger, Payton Smith, Justin Pollard, Peter Treleaven, Alexandria Brown and Avery Brown; and his siblings, Mike Ermatinger, Cheryl Swanson (Rich) and Edie Reno (Jerry).
