She is survived by: her children, Anthony "Chito" Hamel of Lansing, Michigan and Elizabeth "Renee" Hamel of Hessel Michigan; her siblings, Fred Smith of St. Ignace, Michigan, Maggie Rounds of Hessel, Nancy Smith of St. Ignace, Betty Smith (Ken) of Hessel and Patty Chambers of Hessel; her grandchildren, Leigh Ann Hamel, Morgan Hamel, Jacob Hamel and Joshua Williams; and her great grandchildren, Damon and Jonas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
