He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Sheick and Evelyn Sheick (Hager); his wife Joy; his brother Robert; and his stepchildren, John, Dennis and Lee Ann.
He is survived by: his son Randy Sheick; his stepchildren, Randy, Rick, Robin, Dee and Dianna; and his siblings, Vernon Sheick (Ida), Gerald Sheick (Margaret) and Martha Ward. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
