He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Fessenden and Sylvia Fessenden (Eitniear); and his siblings, Carol Nuzzi, Fern Huizenga, Curtis Fessenden and Phillip Fessenden.

He is survived by: his wife Annette Fessenden (DeCheney); his daughters, Wanita Montoya (Rogelio Garcia), Sheila Carpenter (Steve) and Dawn Coles (Luis Lopez); his siblings, Dale Fessenden and Ruby Ewers (Gene); and his brother-in-law Bill Nuzzi. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
