She was predeceased by: her daughter-in-law Lee Smith; and her brothers, Earl Balcom, Jr., Justus Balcom, Gordon Balcom, Ray Balcom, OraDon Balcom and William "Bob" Balcom.
She is survived by: her parents, Earl Balcom and Ruth Balcom (Gurney); her spouse James Smith; her children, Scott Smith of Fremont and Wendy Wilbur (Chris) of Hesperia; her grandchildren, Lindy Snyder, Nathan, Dylan and Jared Smith; and her siblings, Arthur Balcom, Laura Balcom, Alice VanHemert, Lucille Balcom, Fern Balcom and Sue Balcom.
