He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton C. Phelps and Cecile F. Phelps (Clark); his sisters, Joan Hill, Patricia Brooks and Leila Nicolet Hill; and his brother-in-law Gilbert Hill.
He is survived by: his sister Sharon Potter (Gary) of Hesperia; his brother-in-law DuWayne Hill of Muskegon; and his close friends, Rick and Chris Johnson of Hesperia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
