He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ward and Freda Ward (McClure); his wife Helen Sweet; his son Larry Ward; and his siblings, Chet, Pat, Tom Ward, Charlotte "Lottie" Groffen and Viola Bengtsson.
He is survived by: his children, Pam West of Hesperia, Ronald Ward (Karen) of Hesperia and Tom Ward (Cindy) of Hesperia. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren; and by many nieces & nephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held in the Spring of 2021 at East Hesperia Cemetery.
