It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Mitchell Thomas of Hesperia, Michigan, born in Fremont, Michigan, who passed away on October 18, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Claude Thomas; his siblings, Karan Walker and David Thomas; his father-in-law Lyle Winchel; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Eding and Gary Winchel.
He is survived by: his mother Carol Doris Thomas (Armstrong); his wife Charlene "Charlie" Winchel; his pet Sammy Jo; his grandchildren, Jasmine Davalos (Christian), Beyonka Ramirez, Dakota Ramirez, Robert Thomas III (Abi), Gary Thomas, Jesslynn Thomas, Austin Thomas, Case Thomas and Erika Thomas; his siblings, Carla Tanner (J. T.), Doug Thomas (Sandy) and Sherrilee Craner; his mother-in-law Mary Winchel; his siblings-in-law, Rick Winchel (Jill), Tim Winchel (Ellen), Cheryl Baker, Cherrie Zbojniewicz and Dawn Noble (Jeff); his caregiver Jessica; and also, Jennifer Silva (Efren), Robert Thomas Jr. (Karen) and Eric Thomas (Kimberly). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hesperia American Legion Post 4075's. 198th (4075 S 198th Ave, Hesperia, MI 49421).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to assist with funeral expenses.
