She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hebestreit and Helen Hebestreit (Phelps); her husband Philip E. Flater; and her siblings, Roger E. Hebestreit, Charles E. Hebestreit and Diane E. Hebestreit.
She is survived by: her sons, Hiram Flater (Melissa) of Chilicothe, OH, Philip Flater (Jennifer) of Butler and Jonathan Flater (Jessica) of Spencerville; her grandchildren, Halie Flater, Payton Flater, Kayla Flater, Cameron Flater, Ellie Gibson, Jack Gibson, Charlotte Flater and Everly Flater; and her sisters, Shirley Rudy (Robert) of Muskegon, MI. and Denise Vanderstelt of Muskegon, MI..
