She was predeceased by: her mother Lucy JoAnn Hayner (DeFeyter); and her siblings, Westley "Sam" Hayner and Yvonne Lucinda Hayner. She is survived by: her father Lynn Hayner of Onaway; her husband Jerry; her children, Steve Shawl (Deanna) of Bellaire, Sheri Shawl (Dave Brown) of Whittemore, Charles R. Townsend of Wixom, Bethany Char Townsend of Fruitport and Renee Marie McKee (Derrick) of Holton; her grandchildren, Robert, Hannah, Brendon, Jenna, Chris, Haily, Danielle, Ruthie, Megan, Lexie, Jaylynn, Chloe and David James "DJ"; and her sisters, Naomi Rought (Art), Jesse Hoover (Tony) and Julie Lewis (Tim).
